Buyer guide: PV connector and solar DC cable RFQ checklist

A complete RFQ helps a supplier check technical fit, document availability, sourcing and delivery feasibility before quoting.

For PV connectors, please include:

• Connector type/model or approved-make requirement

• System and project specification

• Cable cross-section and construction details

• Pair/quantity requirement

• Required supporting documents

• Delivery location and required date

For solar DC cable, please include:

• 4, 6 or 10 sq. mm—or the project-specified size

• Quantity and packing/drum requirement

• Electrical and construction specification

• Required standards, test reports or certificate scope

• Delivery location and required date

For labelled or project-specific DC kits, please also provide cable lengths, connector configuration, labels, packaging and inspection requirements.
